Does he know something I don't ?

Jed: "Mom, do you know how to get rid of all the mice, rats and bugs around here?!"
(The thought running thru my mind was, "No, Jed, I didn't know we had a bug, mice OR rat problem around here!"

Jed: "REDDEX!"
(which I assume means he saw a commercial for *Riddex* ;)

While I am on Jed-er-isms.....

My response to Jed pestering me for a new basketball net at the thrift store.
"No, Jed, we are not going to buy this, we already have a basketball net"
Jed--- "But mom, basketball is MY game!"

You know you are in for an interesting day......

when 5:30 am finds you finishing a batch of kiefle. ;)

I won't argue that I tend to put things off to the last minute, but I actually did get started on it yesterday. All was going well until I got to the part of the recipe that stated "chill overnight" :).

Jackson had a *Heritage Day* at school. That is why this WASPY ( minus the *P*;) girl was making a Romanian (or perhaps better said...*Eastern European*) treat.

Grandpa's Birthday Party!

Irene was able to get a little private room at the nursing home for a birthday gathering. As you can see, we had a nice crowd and Dad was visably moved to have his family & friends around him on his day. Not pictured, Julie and son, Dominic, Tim & Noah. :)

Boys will be boys.....

No matter how often they have seen the *Redwall* dvd.....
the minute the battle scene comes on, all males ages 18 to 3 will be glued to the set.

Are we having fun yet?

Manny, not looking too sure about being at Splash Universe in Dundee....
really- he did have a great time.
We were able to attend for FREE since they were shooting a commercial ( which was an interesting experience, even though we were more spectators than participators :).

Thank you Theo!

Super Sunday! ( Only a week late).

Super Sunday WAS super for us because we celebrated two birthdays. Poor Dylan got shut down on his birthday weekend because the flu made a visit to our house. Jed's birthday is February 4th, the day after Super Sunday, so we decided to celebrate both together.

Jed's cake became a *free for all* once Naomi had to retire ( she was coming down with a second round of strep) and his shirt says it all! :)

Of course, Guitar Hero was played during commercials and half time!

Now- a break from birthday action for a few months! Phew! :)
